You did not arrive at this blog accidentally. You are here by special invitation. There is something on this site that God specifically wants you to know.
This isn’t a site about how to become more “religious.” Religion will get you nowhere fast, in fact it does more harm than good.
You’re being invited into a relationship with the Living God who knows everything about you and longs for you to know Him, too.
He started with a garden. He created man and desired to have companionship with them. Alas, in no time at all they blew it.
Years later, He said, “Look. I want to be with you. Build me a tent and I’ll camp with you.” The Israelites did, and the tabernacle was made. Once they were situated, they built Him a house.
“I don’t think people understand what I am like. I know. I’ll put on a human tent and go live with them.” Jesus came and lived among people for 33 years. They killed Him.
Because He’s God, He didn’t stay dead. Historically, there is more evidence for the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus than there is for Julius Caesar. Did you know that?
Being human had its limitations, however, and He really desired to communicate His love for them, so after His death and resurrection, He returned to heaven and sent His Spirit to live inside those who were willing. He referred to these people as His “body.”
Now He had hands, feet, and many voices with which to reach people everywhere…including you!
I am one of those people…
…and He has asked me to tell you that He loves you unconditionally.
Relax! He’s not asking you to become “religious.” It was the religious people of His day who killed Him. I’d say things haven’t changed much in that arena.
He’s not asking you to try harder and do more to be “acceptable.” He knows what you are like, so has no expectations of you. Consequently, He is not and never has been disappointed in you.
This is your invitation to friendship with the Creator of the universe, the eternal God. That’s how He defined eternity, you know: This is eternal life: that they would know You, the one true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent. (John 17:3)
All you have to do is say, “Yes.”
