About Jesus

…and it really is all about Him; not because He is an egomaniac, but because He knows that when we make life about “us” we are incredibly miserable, self-centered souls.

He invites us into a relationship with Him, not so we can be humans “doing” all the work. We can’t earn anything from God. He offers freedom from all our efforts to work harder. In Him, and Him alone, we can be humans “being.”

It’s all about grace – undeserved favor; and mercy – undeserved acquittal!

Hi Tami, I wanted to tell you that for some reason the “Comments,” “See all Comments” and “Like” links on the email I got for the “Article’s to Re-blog” don’t work. ( in other words I left the comment here because I couldn’t tell you there that the guest posting on Diana’s blog is super cool! I sent in a story.) I don’t know a lot about re-blogging so maybe that’s normal. It goes to a blank page on your blog, though the link for the blog articles worked great.

I save links to articles I want to reblog on Sundays (when I don’t write) in a draft. I went click-crazy this morning and published my list. That was embarrassingly awkward! I had to cut the info off it, delete the old one, and paste my links into a new draft for future use.

Sorry for the confusion!

No problem at all. Since I am pretty new at blogging still, I just began in February, I wasn’t sure if a re-blog was supposed to be that way. πŸ™‚

No, doggone it! A reblog doesn’t do that. My face is still red! πŸ˜‰ The silly thing was posted like that on a lot of other blogs, too. Augh!

Did you know that you can write a post – then instead of publishing it right away, schedule it to post at a different time or on a different day? Very handy when we’ll be busy on a particular day. Thought I’d share, just in case!

I heard about it but neve tried it. My fingers are usually itching to punch that publish button once I am done (or at least think so). Then later to my chegrin find blunders. I must need some serious humbling! πŸ˜‰ So glad you did that reblog. Do you already have your story(s) you want to send in?

Man, I completely forgot. I’m doing guest posts on a couple of other sites – and possibly online Biblical counseling as well. It’s been a busy week – and it’s only Tuesday! Thanks for the reminder!!

Wow, online Biblical counseling. You will have to let me know when that one is up.

Yeah, you can pray for me. I have no degrees in counseling…only tons of experience with Jesus to offer. If they’re not satisfied that I can serve people without reflecting poorly on the “certified” ones, I won’t be permitted to do it (although they asked me…I’d never heard of them before I was contacted). I’m trying to decide if it’s the Lord calling – or the enemy distracting. Time will tell!

“Tons of experiences with Jesus” is worth ten certified ones. You have such a sweet spirit for The Lord and seem to have an excellent desire for ministry. If they are not satisfied, maybe there is a better place for you. you may want to research them a bit. I will pray for you.

My hubby did the research. The head fellow is from Navigators (been with them for 15 years). The counselors are all wonderful folks.

I figure if I get turned down, no big deal. That’s what I do with or without any affiliation!

Thanks, dear one!

Can I please ask for prayer for my family of sorts? Me, Layla, her grandmothers and her father Max. I’m waiting for God’s miracle!! I’m hoping for my family to be a real family, one that sticks through thick and thin. That all negative forces working against us be destroyed and we live in peace, love and light. Amen

Dearest Abba:

I thank You for your promise in Acts that when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, we will be saved…and our household as well. Although it may seem impossible to our minds, Lord, we trust that You will bring this to pass in Your time. Thank you for putting these people in our lives so that we may be You to them, and they may be instruments in Your hands to refine us as well. We wait on You, Lord, to do the impossible: to raise the dead and make them spiritually alive; to bring the bond of unity where there is discord. Have Your way, O Lord. We believe that You can do all we ask. Help our unbelief!

We ask this in accordance with Your will, therefore we ask

In Jesus’ Name,
AMEN!!!!!

I read your comments on Jon Lilley’s blog and was encouraged to see others who feel the same about doubt versus unbelief. Thanks for liking my page. If you know any intercessors or are one please visit our ministry site prayhawaii.org for a prayer guide for the spiritual and physical needs in Hawaii. Aloha & Mahalo Nui Loa (Great Thanks!)

One of my favorite books is “Da Jesus Book.” You probably have one – the Hawaiian Pidgin. I memorized John 3:16 and share it with those on the islands. They will listen to me quote from this Bible – and even ask for more. Most of the time they want to know where they can get a copy too. It’s a great evangelism tool for me when I’m there.

Yes, I’ll be delighted to pray for your family and ministry. The needs there are great – as we’ve seen from our visits (My son was stationed on Oahu for 4 years).

Yes, I have the Da Jesus Book! I never thought of using it as an evangelistic tool. Thank you for your prayers. There is definitely great need here on the island, both spiritual and physical. Aloha

Your turn!
