Relate: In 99 movies out of 100, the good guy wins. It is one of the things that keeps us watching. What keeps us on the edge of our seat isn’t wondering “if” he or she will win but rather “how”. It wasn’t if Captain America was going to take down Red Skull, it was how. It wasn’t “if” the Avengers would stop Loki, it was how. It isn’t “if” Linda will get George in Wanderlust, it is “how” I will stay awake until the end… oh wait.

With the exception of that last, the same thing is true in our spiritual life (and no, I didn’t see Wanderlust, there are more peaceful ways for me to take…
